Recently I've had long talk with my friend. We are the same age, and we both remember old cartoons. Stories from time when heroes has GUTS, MUSCLES and BIG GUNS (or SWORDS). There were lasers, explosions, ugly villains and sexy girls. Music was mostly heavy metal and animation was something more than just bunch of colourful geometrical shapes. When anthro characters were idols of kids. We looked on nowadays cartoons and we see, that they have no soul. They are funny sometimes, but most of all they are... polite? Censored, safe and completely without fun. I miss these good times. But, as Czech people used to say - to se ne vrati. I'm only happy, that I have internet and I can watch old stuff online or download it. That's what still keeps my inner child alive.
