What am I doing wrong?

It's odd. When I joined FA I could have sworn that making an account that does nothing but give free art would do well. I mean, yes, I have faves and watches, and I appreciate those a lot, but it's been really difficult for me to get requests! The three I have left right now are ones that I had to go out and ask to do, and it makes me wonder if I'm giong about this whole thing wrong.
Do theterms of me coloring demand too much?
Is it that you people really only want me to color smut?
Am I just too slow?
Is the quality of my work really that poor?
Do I generate some sort of repellant aura?
I mean, I see other colorists like Notveryathletic, who just seem to never run out of material, and I wonder if it is that you people want me to color like him or something. But it's hard for me to get help on new coloring styles, because nobody really talks to me, here.
So please, if you cared to read this. Tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Imo. Tho. It's really just a lack of information! I didnt know that you were offering these until this journal popped up!
I kind of would have hoped that leaving the same journal up for a year that openly states that I'm willing to do colorings would have gotten the message across that I'm willing to do colorings. But...seems I could be wrong.

You know how a car spends more energy starting from 0 mph and getting up to a certain speed, than it does maintaining said speed? That. :/
Also, ya, if you did smut, your watch list would probably triple over a week.
Also, I don't fave what I want to color, because this account is about coloring what other people want colored. I made this account for the people that can't color for themselves, and yet I end up with the chirp of crickets.
As for smut...yeah, I'd only have to put down flat colors...
Your assuming that people will see you by chance and then ask you to colour things for them, simply because you are there. You have to be proactive to do anything in life. If you want things to colour, find them, do them, and then look for more. Once you've got a name, then it will come to you.
I've put more thought into this than you seem to be giving me credit for.
Now that I know... *brain malfunction*
