Anniversary time!

Right around this time last year, [February 7th, 2009 03:12 AM to be exact] I started my first painting as a way to turn off my brain after streams of excessive photo-work. Hah, its been a rad process, and Im finding myself increasingly lost to its pull, and surprised at all the unexpected great things it has brought into my life.
Its funny to think now that this represents the anchor of a year, and of initial impulse. Its good to be a little embarrassed by your "old" work, right? Good times. I also wanted to thank you all for your engagement and responses. Thanks guys! Anyway, cheers, and looking forward to another year of painting.

Yeah, this has been my first year. But I have been engaged in the visual arts for a while, and that has definitely helped, and I've had a good input along the way. Thanks ^.^
