for me its any album with a real sense of place. its hipster of me to say 'in the aeroplane over the sea' by neutral milk hotel, but honestly that album has so much to love in it. smart lyrics, good progression, varied musical instruments... hell i dont even LIKE folk music, and its one of my most spun albums.
