I ummm I really just joined for the art o.o

yeah. most of us started by seeing the art and saying "thats nifty" or cool or hot.
but lots of people join under the pretense of quick easy sex :O

its always good to be around people who are here for the not wrong reasons lol

lol one of the reasons I love going to cons is being around the artists. Talking to them and absorbing all the different styles and backgrounds. Which is probably why I'm usually seen in the artist's alley and the dealer's room arting my heart away. I take commissions cuz I like to draw ( and I do like money as well) But I like getting challenged :3

and thats great! i hang out in the artist alley as well cause alot of the time i will meet artists i had never heard of being from which i can get art from them or follow them here on FA.

ive actualy made a good chunk of my friends just from hanging out next to artist tables and stuff. i go to cons to meet up with my friends that i normally wont get to see on a regular bnd to network with those friend into meeting other people xD

im a social butterfly at cons xD

I say bittersweet.

It's just something to note. I mean, if anything it along with your involvement in the anime/manga fandom thing combined with various other things you enjoy got you drawing more. Once it got you drawing you started getting money, some notoriety and such in various spots and eventually met some folks whose company you enjoy along with friends from school or just life in general.

At the same time within any fandom you get headaches and such so in either case you've had good moments and bad. Is it all overall a good thing or a bad thing? I dunno... probably just a thing.
