Sorry, I'm not dead yet. Also: Games, art and AC rooming.

So yeah, I'm not dead just yet. My apologies to those who had hoped I was. <__<
I'm still 'busy' taking a break and plan on doing so for a little while longer.
I DO have some decent ideas to work with so once I get back to drawing, I'll probably won't have to take another break anytime soon... I guess... Maybe... Or something like that.
ANYWAYS. Three topics.
Games:
I started by break with getting Mass Effect 2 while waiting for AVP to arrive, I was in desperate need of a break and the game came in handy. Good game, still plan on replaying it a few more times, but not anytime soon.
Reason being I managed to get my hands on AVP, which was for sale a whole week sooner than it's official release date here. I'm not a reviewer and bigtime biased towards the whole setting/universe, so all I can really say is that I love it.
The single player was rather short but satisfying. Multiplayer is obviously where a big part of the game is at and so far, it hasn't let me down. Controls and melee is rather clunky and really needs some getting used to.
Art:
Not a whole lot to say. AVP got me sorta motivated to not change my xenosona (long story, boring) and, as said earlier, gave me some ideas to draw. Other than that... there's not a lot to talk about.
AC:
So I plan on attending AC again this year. Hopefully better than the last, but we'll see...
Now, I managed to get a room in the Westin for the duration of the whole con. I did receive a mail with confirmation from the hotel, but I'm still waiting for the bill of my creditcard.
This said, I may have a few spot in the room open. If anyone's interested or you know someone who's still in need of a spot, just reply. No notes, I don't like a cluttered inbox.
Some more things:
1) THIS IS NOT 'FIRST COMES, FIRST GETS'. Keep that in mind. I'll be posting in some other places and the choice will eventually be mine. There will be rules, but those will be posted in a later journal, this is just a little FYI.
2) MAKE SURE TO HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE PLACE TO STAY. I won't be making decisions untill about two months before the con. Maybe sooner. I don't know.
That's pretty much all I had to say.

I only have the xbox 360 version. My computer is about 5 years old and needs replacing badly. It's just that it's cheaper to get a console and save up some for AC.

But i'm not dealing this time either, so i might be invisible >.> BUT, i said i wasn't going to be dealing at FC too, and i ended up at a table the whole time.. so who knows!
As for AC, I'll be able to find you one way or another. If you're not at a table, all I have to do is search for a flock of people stalking an oryx... shouldn't be too hard to spot. :รพ

As for the AC, there will be more cons next year and the years after. Save up and find some friends to tag along with you on the trip. :3
