whats wrong with the nova, other than the rusted out trunk?

well, its been sitting up for a while now....doesnt have a motor and needs some serious tlc, lol. thats why i want to get the F-150 on the road, so it doesnt go the road the nova went

My gut reaction is to murder you for even thinking of selling the Nova to build up a common pickup, but money is money.....My 300ZX has sat in the yard in an automotive cocoon for almost a decade now waiting to be restored and rebuilt.

yeah...I really dont like the thought of selling it when i got most of the stuff to fix it with. Was wanting to put a motor and trunck pan in it first before i sell it. My mom is the main reason i wanted to just go and get rid of it, but now that i think about it, im not going to give up hope on it...Dont have the original motor but a 305 is just as good as a 307 *some were weak blocks anyways, and parts for them are HIGH* so.....when it comes down to it...im probably not going to sell it....as much as id like the money to fix my truck...im not getting rid of my classic....plus id be giving up on myself if i did sell it. So i might just call the guy and tell him that i changed my mind about it. Id be a fool to sell it, when i got most of the stuff to rebuild the motor and make it drivable. so...i might just keep the old nova for a while longer. Plus, im more of a restorer than someone to cut it up and make a race car out of it

Sometimes things like this that you only can focus on the short term, seem like the only way to go, but when you stick to your guns and hold out, you are almost always happier for it.
That's why I have not given up on the Knight Z project. The car hasn't run for almost 10 years, and have been doing the Knight Conversion on it since about Feb 2006.

I'm currently doing a Buick 3800 V6 conversion on my 86 Samurai, and with any luck, will have that going in the next 6 months. Fuck that overblown overhyped oil leaking piece of shit 4.3 Vortec conversion.....I want a real motor that's going to last.

I have some on my DA page, though theyre old....but are still relevant. I like the 3800 buick motor, as well as the 4.1 buick motor *though i hadnt seen many of those. Heres hoping your samurai has some kick to it with that motor dropped off in it. I really dont want to sell it, yet i wanted to fix my truck....also...i wanted to get it running first before i sell it. Eitherway, im going to keep my nova. its the only 4 door ive seen in town....the only one thats in town, and the only one of about 3 others ive seen in mississippi. not sure if theyre are more, but until i find another in better shape, im not selling it. Though, i will sell my cousin's caprice thats been taking up space in our backyard for the last few days now. But yeah, my mind is made up now...im going to hold on to it until i get it running and able to drive under its own power. My main fear i guess is ending up seeing it in a junkyard waiting to be crushed....thats why i really dont want to sell it, plus buying all that other stuff over the years for it, im not going to throw that all away. Maybe im making a bad decision im making, but i just dont want to get rid of it until i get it running and drivable

I -would- work on my truck buuuuht money is diverted elsewhere so I'll just keep her running but I wish I had the funds for fixing my dads old Super-bee :X all in all, money is spread thin like everyone else
