Contastic Cubs!

This has officially been the best weekend of my life! I've never had so much fun and can't believe I get to have it with such wonderful cubs!
Thanks to our fantastic host,
kitsuno, not only do I get to share an executive suite with so many cubs, but I get to be padded in BAMBINOS 24/7! When it's not nap time, our room is full of crinkles and giggles and each little sound has brought a much needed smile to my face.
But best of all there's the stories I've gotten to experience that will warm my heart for years to come. Stories that I want to share with all of you now as I sit in the Furry Fiesta internet room.
When we arrived at the airport last Thursday to pick up
hexaod at the baggage claim,
jeffy and I challenged each other to see who could glomp the veggie fops first. As soon as I walked through the automatic doors, I ran full speed, immediately spotting the kit before he could see me. He squealed with surprise and delight when I tacklehugged him just before Jeffy did. It was like getting that present you always wanted for Christmas and I found it very hard to let him go.
The next day when we arrived at the con we were having trouble getting our room and kept going back and forth between the guest halls and the registration desk. Along the way I saw an attendee covered from head-to-toe in camo pants and spec ops gear with steampunk goggles and the Dr. Steel emblem on his jacket. Being a fellow Toy Soldier myself I saluted him and he saluted me back. Later that day I went to the convention game room and joined in on a Brawl session. One of the furs playing said he recognized my tag and showed me his. It was none other than Bob Gupte or
babyfox1800. Surprised and delighted to find another SL friend at Furry Fiesta, I invited him over to the cub room. Along the way he asked to stop by his room and change. While he was getting his camo pants and boots off (revealing a double thick M4 Abina) and looking for his shorts, I noticed a familiar black jacket and Dr. Steel Emblem on his bed. That night he stayed over at the cub room and we cuddled with Hexx and Jeffy and didn't wake up till noon today. Because we missed breakfast, we made a quick stop at Waffle House and got back just in time for the Fursuit parade!
Well, I'd love to share more but there a pinata party in 10 minutes and I don't wanna miss it! For those who couldn't make it I wish you were here and wish the best of luck for next year. Those who are, be on the look out for a glompin' even if I've glomped you already. XP
