I have to say I had a pretty good time there at the convention. There was a few minor inconveniences but overall it was a relaxing experience not like the rush rush feeling you get at the major ones.

Checked in friday afternoon noticed there was still snow on one of the roofs.

I met up with Dook and his brother Khyle got to see them nearly embarrassed at the opening ceremonies. Friday was their birthdays and being identical twins they where each given a red and a blue sash X3 I thought it was too cute. Reg. went smoothly celyddon really worked her heart out keeping the lines moving so smoothly. *gives her a big cookie* Went to celebrate dooks and khyles birthday at the magic time machine but the 2 and a half hour wait was just too long for the 17 or so people that came along. So we popped on over next door to Bj's. Wait was still a little longer than anticipated but not bad for a Friday night in Addison. Met Miles AM had a engaging conversation with him & Khyle's friend Walter. Food was quite excellent. Couldn't really stay up too terribly late having been on call the last three days prior so the bed won out and the strangest dreams of muffins came to mind X.=.x

Saturday woke up quite early 4am and had a slight panic attack that I was late for work :p figured out where I was and fuck it went back to bed. Thank you Crowne Hotel for providing extra blankets and ear plugs and night eye covers (no there not to be used in extra physical matters) those did come in handy. Saturday was spent snooping the dealers den and artist alley. Picked up and absolute wonderful con badge from Dook and several books from Mr. Fuzzwolf. Spent most the day just wandering the halls bumping into familiar faces and those that just knew me by Acroth. It was great to get to meet so many new folks there. Popped in at the art auction Mr. Balto ran it very well. Picked up 3 pieces their 2 where gifts to Khyle and Dook. Was introduced to my first taste of Peruvian cuisine with Khyle, Walter, Myenia and her Faience at Incas I had the Lamato Saltado and a delicious drink chicha morada. Spent the rest of the evening peeking in to several panels chilled out at the corral and got a call in from Silvy. Paid him and Eli a visit then went to Fogo de Chao for dinner and meat coma insured Marthian was the meat master.

Sunday I slept in no nightmares of ninja meat men :p It was rainy. Ate breakfast with Khyle shot the breeze and did more wanderings around the con. Thought I lost my brass badge but getting home I rechecked and it was where I left it so all is well. Met Annie and her BF behind Dook's table picked up a badge from them. Said my good byes to Dook and Khyle hope to see you guys soon again. Over all I enjoyed the con.

troubles with the ATM's where my only gripe. Hotel's ATM was out of order or not connecting to the bank and the one next door had the English tab missing but it was understandable. everything else went pretty well I'll be happy to return next year. Thanks to everyone I met it was it was a blast.
