Furry Fiesta Recap

Wow! Just wow! Furry Fiesta was a blast. Last year I roomed and mostly hung around with 
texascoyote and shyly met a few people. This year though, I knew SO many more people and met and socialized with a lot more. I roomed with him again as well as 
okidoki and 
strykerwulf and we all head a good time together.
I got there late Thursday night; and from then on it was all go. I spent most of my time just hanging out with various friends off and on, met a lot of cool new ones, hit up some panels and just having a good time. I would list all the people I met and hung with, but it was a lot. Plus, I got a couple commissions and a lot of badges. I'm a badge whore now. ^^
Saturday, I went to the anniversary dinner of
imperiallion and 
kurisu-kitsune which was really nice to be there on a day like that. I got pretty upset that night because my fursuit didn't arrive on Saturday like it was supposed to, but I calmed down thanks to friends and moved on.
I also got to go to Kyell Gold's book reading for the first chapter of the Out of Position sequel. And it starts great. More than that though, Kyell Gold started to talk with me afterward. And Sabian, Kyell Gold, Kit (Gold's mate) and I sat around and talked for a while and that was a lot of fun and memorable.
The thing that made me go running down the hall, bouncing in excitement the whole way though is that my fursuit came in on Sunday morning. Apparently USPS will deliver packages on Sundays. No one knew I guess. I was ecstatic. I put it on and suited most of the rest of the day. Did some of the end of con stuff and hung out with some people and Jase Husky, doing some fursuiting stuff with some other suiters who were still there at night.
I didn't want to leave Monday, but had to. Little to say I can't wait for next year, and will probably try to go to another con before Oklacon if I can.

And yes, it was great meeting you! It threw me off a little when you told me your fursuit was delivered that morning. I wouldn't even have thought of shipping it to the hotel.
Yeah, my builder suggested sending it to a nearby post office, and I was like, why not just send it to the hotel? So I checked with the hotel that they would accept, and then said go for it when I found out they did.
