No but close. I'm refuring to my parents decision to subject me to penis reduction plastic surgery as a kid, ala circumism.

not to mention their are plently of cases where boys had botched cuts and have been maimed.

I don't mind either circumcised or uncercumcised men, but I do have to admit that I prefer circumcised because it feels better during sex. That's a woman's perspective though. Its your penis, do what makes you happy.
the foreskin has its own gliding motion, the head is "moist' so theres little to no friction during sex, it even requires a lot less lube.
--shrugs-- I know a few women who had both and prefur uncut. but...thats your opinion ^_^

I'm circumsized, and quite happy that I am. I'm seen too many people who are uncut complaining of problems that I've never had to worry about. Two of my uncut friends have repeated issues with pain when they masturbate, because the extra skin is a little too tight and gets sore easily. I've also talked with guys who say it actually is a pain to keep clean. I've talked with others who say it is not a problem at all. People know what works for them.
As for friction - it is required in order for me to feel pleasure during sexual activity. My opinion, that could be wrong, is that a cut penis would need less or no lube, when compared to an uncut on. Without the extra skin, there is actually less surface area to deal with. I personally don't like lube, and never saw the need for it. Having a cut penis means I already have a smooth surface. Any lube would rub me of friction, which would greatly reduced my pleasure. I tried using lube a couple times, just to be sure I wasn't overlooking something.
I was told by one uncut guy that one of the most painful things in the world is to get a public hair caught in the foreskin, which he said happens it there is not enough lube. I'll have to take his word for it, as it is not an issue that can happen if someone is cut.
The only way to know what a woman (or a man) prefers is to ask them as an individual. For every person that prefers uncut, there is probably someone else who prefers cut. It is probably safe to say that few people are going to make a change from cut to uncut, or the other way around, once they are old enough to know what it means! I run into about as many cut people who want theirs back, as uncut people who wish that they were cut, but are afraid of having it done. It definitely goes both ways.

the head of a uncut penis due to the foreskin, is much softer, smoother, and sensitive so for most just the foreskin alone is required while masturbating, because its rubbing back and forth over it.
where as a cut penis, has a leathery dried out head. a uncut one should still be accompanied with lube, because the whole thing does go in someone, not just the head.

as for cleaning, if you can wash your hands, it takes less then half the effort to wash foreskin, plus your already in the shower washing that area anyhow....so your not going out of your way to do it.
and actually hygiene was an excuse, modern day circumcision is just so kids won't masturbate ^_~.
Kellogg (the cereal guy) said it should be done with no anesthetics so that the child will equate it with pain and punishment, and their for not do it. they just event new reasons as new "health threats" spring up in the world.
i'm not saying every guy should go and "restore" their foreskin, its my own personal decision. It just has no reason to be done without my permission, I didn't say yes, and so I want to correct that ^_^
