As a young adult, Mrilly was shy and ashamed of her gender. Much of the other herms she witnessed were total sex hounds and often lewdly endowed. So she's always hid her gender, even though it makes her feel guilty about it when it comes across as a surprise.
Growing up, Mrilly was teased often about her extra set of breasts and, if it was discovered, her gender. She studied alteration magic, a subschool of transmutation, sometimes also called fleshcrafting, hoping through studying this magic she might be able to turn herself into a normal woman and avoid this teasing. The magic didn't work quite as Mrilly hoped and makes the subject's flesh moldable like clay, which means her hands would turn into useless lumps if she tried it on herself.
While shy, she still took the initiative to approach people and over time has really come out of her shell. She's gotten used to being more outgoing than before. She hasn't had any negative reactions to her gender in adulthood, and has become much more relaxed about herself as well. She's even taking more of a liking to the more exotic and unique forms, as rare as they may be. But with the aid of her magic, she can change people to be more exotic and unique. She's since learned a bit of alchemy as well to make potions of often requested changes, but she's only used one particularly complicated potion on herself.
Now Mrilly can often be seen wearing quite eye-catching outfits from the beautiful to the snappy to the downright gaudy. She likes to dress up and has a variety of outfits for different occasions, including Christmas, Talk like a Pirate Day, Easter (which ties into a interesting quirk), Halloween, and seasonal outfits too.
The change Mrilly made to herself through Alchemy is she an egg rather than normal ovulation. She only goes through the process once a year and is fertile for a brief period around New Years and, regardless of fertilization, comes to look quite pregnant around Easter time and this is when she lays it.
OOC wise, I played Sylia for quite a while before wanting to experiment with playing a herm character. It turns out I really liked Mrilly and nowadays RP with Mrilly much more than Sylia.

Given some of the color and other 'subtle' or not so subtle things in the furry fandom... Long vibrant purple hair.. is rather subtle.
