My favorite show is Paranormal State :3
The first thing that I can remember happening is my parents were in the basement doing laundry after me and my sister had gone the bed. They heard a can fall off the shelf in the pantry and roll through the dining room, kitchen and stop in the living room. They came upstairs to pick up the can but there was no can. The pantry door was closed. But the odd thing is, if a can had rolled the way they heard it roll, it would have had to roll up hill.
The next thing I remember happening is little toy cars moving. Andrew loved race cars and little toy cars. I had a few so I put them on the floor before I went to bed and said if you want to play with them you can. In the middle of the night I heard them rolling around on the floor and a little boys voice saying vroom vroom. I was half asleep so I said Andrew be quiet. Then I heard him say sorry and the cars stopped moving.
Those are the 2 major things that have happened. Other smaller things have happened, like things have disappeared and reappeared later, doors shutting on their own, shadows, things like that.
theres this one time i was on the computer, (FA quincedently) and i heard running in the kitchen. Knowing my lil bro being a rascal i turned around and saw a lil kid run infront of my lil bro's TV (that was on) and it turned off, and the lil kid disapeared. next thing i know my moms boy friend walks in an asks, "did you see that fuckin' shit?" an i nod my head. its happen numerous acations....like when he ran through my back yard.
heres another, i call this experiance, "To hell...and back."
so it was reeeeeally early and i turn on my radio to the fox. it was....ehhh 3:30? and i close my eyes an fall asleep......then....heres the fucked up part..... i wake up to have my vision totaly blurred...everythings all red, im extreamly hot, i hear voices yelling, "MAKE IT STOOOP....HEEEELP MEEEE." I hear weird ass voices, my sterio with the radio station is all fuckin distorted....then it all stops.....im in a corner of my bed shaking, sweating, and trying to catch my breath...and tears rolling down my cheek....
The previous owners of my house were, as I've been told, good people with a bad past. The owner, this middle age mother, lived with her two sons back in the sixties through the late eighties or so. I'm not too sure on specifics, but one of her sons committed suicide in the basement, and the mother died here a few years later or so.
I've witnessed quite a few things over the years, and they themselves have sparked my keen interest in the paranormal world. Instead of building a wall of thick text, I'll list some of the things I've experienced here.
1) Shadows, full body apparitions, orbs.
2) Doors open and close without the aid of the living human element or differences in air pressure in the house. (tested myself)
3) Moving/misplaced objects. (as well as objects thrown at me, which is fun).
4) Electrical interference with my television (cable disruption, channels changing on their own, on/off etc.), Cell phone, cameras, etc dying in very short amounts of time, stereos happen to turn on by themselves as well.
5) I have a few EVP's.
6) Footsteps.
7) Very high EMF readings (not due to electrical units).
8) Disturbing dreams... however, I'm not sure if they have anything to do with it, but it's a theory I'm working with.
Could you share what the EVPs picked up?
Also, Many things factor in with your dreams. It could be paranormal, or simply things such as stress. With dreams it's really hard to tell the sources.
The EVP's I'd have to dig up. They're on cassettes somewhere in this house.
As for the dreams, yeah... I haven't a clue. I'm actually keeping logs of them for future references. I'll probably never come to a link between them and anything paranormal. Probably just psychological issues, ha.
Come to find out, the other two ladies thought my mom was already up and decided to go out and see what she was working on. ( Everybody heard it ). They all discover then that the machine is completely unattended... And that nobody else was in the room, even....
It only happened once though.
Personally, i've spent many nights in the hotel even before it was finished. besides being known as a place where ghost hunters find many orbs and heat readings and the like, i personally have had one experience that i've have many times, almost every time i've spent a night at the hotel. That is the sound of dogs growling and moving outside my door, either into the hall or out onto the balcony. Also i've seen shadows of the dog's feet under the door. I know for a fact that there are no dogs in the hotel as they are not allowed.
and yeah.... i get to stay at the hotel for free when i make reservations with my cousin, who works the front desk. ;P
OH! Also, another uncle owns Jerome's liberty theater, where i have one fun story...
It was a theater for old black and white silent films where the music was played live every night. one day, the organist suffered a massive heart attack and died. the new organist spent a full day setting the instrument to his specifications, but the next day all the knobs and the like were re-set perfectly to the old organist's settings. O.o
So yeah. ^^
I bet that was frustrating to come back to changed setting after all the work to set it.
I'd always feel like i was running through water, and it was always at the same location, at the crossroads by my old house, and just before one dog sank it's teeth in i'd wake up.
I'm now very afraid of mad dogs. *shiver*
I didn't actually saw them, at least not clearly. Just the shadow and the noises wich where more than enough to creep the hell outta me and make me run! T3T
Back when I was in the fifth grade, my class took a week long trip up to Lake Arrowhead as an 'end of the year//graduation from elementary school' thing. We stayed in this cabin building that was kind of like a motel, with all the rooms interlinked, and there was 4 to a room. Well on the second or third night, one girl--Vanessa, I think her name was, but names are irrelevant--had gotten up to go to the bathroom, and when she got back, there was someone laying in her bed. She screamed, waking up the entire cabin building and myself, since I was bunked directly above her. Our troop leader rushed in, turned on the light, and the said person was 'gone'.
This scream had spooked everyone to the point nobody wanted to sleep. I was annoyed because I've had my fair share of creepy stuff [we had a poltergeist living in my home at the time that liked opening and closing the hall doors, and my mom told me it was a ghost], and knew it was just a spirit so I wanted to go back to sleep. Apparently our troop leader decided to tell us that yes, indeed, one of the cabin rooms was haunted [she had a paranormal investigation team come out and check it out] and it was four rooms down in room 13 [oh irony]. Well all the rooms but 6--the troop leader's room, since it was in the middle--13, 14, and 15 were filled with now scared little girls, none of who wanted to sleep. I didn't feel like walking too far, so guess where I slept for the night?
Yup. Cabin 13. XD I swear I got the 'God Be With You' treatment as I grabbed my shit and headed to sleep there.
Upon walking in, I could tell the room was at least 20 degrees cooler than the room I was just in... which is one of the signs of being in a haunted area [temperature changes, I mean.] I walked over to the bunk opposite of the door, put my stuff down by the bed and laid down before saying, "Look, if this place is haunted, I just want to sleep. I don't care what you do just let me rest." And went to bed.
I woke up and my bags had been moved so they were stacked all neatly. When I had put them down, I had just thrown them everywhere, and had kicked my slippers off down near the foot of the bed [they were resting on top of my bag]. Other than that, I slept extremely well. XD I was the only one with energy [besides the boys, who were in another cabin] for the hike that day, haha.
That was one of my major experiences. ^^ Sorry it was so long. And yes, I've been involved with paranormal stuff since a young age. XD
