My gryphoness is in the hospital

Jaelyn has been in a lot of head pain since yesterday. Or... I guess it's the day before now. Sunday. Been in the hospital with her for the last I don't know how many hours.
They did a CT scan. And they did a lumbar puncture. Where they draw fluid from her spinal cord. It was a very traumatic procedure. She was still in pain through multiple doses of morphine.
She was diagnosed with viral meningitis (infection of the brain) and admitted to the hospital.
The good news is that it's the milder version of meningitis. The doctor says she should recover in a week or so. But she's still going to be in pain in the meantime.
Please send your good will toward my birdie for a speedy recovery.

Ow *sends hugs to you both* I hope she heals quickly with no permanent damage; that can be a tricky thing to cure, but I hope it goes well, fast, and with her in your wings again soon.
like anything else with virii, it's quite possible it can mutate or do thousands of other things that can lead to something else.
Keep a close eye on her, as you can, dear dragon. My and I'm sure everyone else's good thoughts/prayers/well wishes are
