It's amazing how much of a difference a few days break in sketching makes to the quality of the work. With the time off for my back pain, it was really hard to get back into the groove of sketching again, and it really showed with how bad the first couple of sketches for KanaKitten were. Now I've been doing a few though, I seem to be getting the hang of it again. I'll really try not to have a break again if I can help it - at least a sketch a day is my goal. Preferably 2 or more!
