theres no real way to do an intro to this post soooo....
I just found out today, a few hours ago, that my grandma has cancer in her kidney. which is the 2nd cancer they found in the past 6months, last time was breast cancer though they found it very early.
needless to say my dad is a bit more then upset. as for me idk it hasn't really settled in yet. I am a emotionally driven person, but news like this always seem to take a lot longer to hit home with me then most people.
but seeing how my "bf" also has cancer...and in the exact same spot, I'm pretty sure it will, and probably when I feel like sleeping of all times.
She's a stubborn lady, very very sweet but stubborn. Hell she was more concerned about making sure Easter dinner will be a possibility then she was about the cancer it self. So I think she'll end up being just fine ^_^
--hugs and kisses everyone-- and if you comment you'll get even more of those ^_^

if you need to talk to someone i'm here! <333 you're my favorite bear.
Yeah, I'm the same with those kind of things. It takes too long to hit me, and when it finally does it is relentless.
-huggles tight-
I know words are not really gonna help. So...
-huggles tight again-
I'm here, man.
I hope she beats it again and comes back stronger.. *hugs the teddy tight* My best wish's out to her and your entire family..
I lost two members of my family to cancer in the past year and a half. One of them was my grandmother, who basically raised me, and the other was my younger brother.
Hopefully, both your grandma and your bf found out in time for treatment to work.
I think my grandma should be ok, from what I been told their planning on going in and removing it, which is good and could just end the whole prob.
as for my bf he's be a cancer patient for the past 6-7years. Mostly because he's been to big to just go in and cut up, with their being a lot of risk. though they took him off some of the meds that led to much of his weight gain and they have him on a strict diet. (he is naturally on the big side though) that way if they really need to cut it out its a much safer option now then it was a year ago.
needless to say ideal situation is that they both end up just fine and have many many years left in the hour glass, but thats not for me to dictate >_>
thanks for the support ^_^
