What the crap is with yaoi manga? It's all like: "*RAAAAPE* Oh gosh he raped me that was not nice but why did I like it I must be in love with him I will forgive him because he is hot and we will have more sex *HOT SEX SCENE* THE END."

Or, alternatively: "I have liked this guy for such a long time but I am too scared to make a move so instead I will TEARFULLY CONFESS and then run away and hide for the rest of my life WAIT who is that knocking on my door WHAT IS THIS HE LIKES ME TOO?!? *HOT SEX SCENE*"

And all this in like, 30 pages or less. And usually the first ten pages are devoted to backstory because we don't know who the hell these animu dudes are and golly it's HARD to show personality past uke/seme, and so much easier to pretend that a terrible home life and/or all your family members dying is an adequate replacement for a character arc.
I mean fer chrissakes I realize ya read it for the pr0nz, but you could at least TRY, yaoi manga writers. Make the characters at least EARN the sex somehow, not just for the reason that they are animu dudes.

I really like this one though http://www.animephile.com/yaoi/rin......Rin!/Volume+1/ because there is hardly any sex in it at all, the story is good and characters plausible, and the art is very nice. <3 Well done Rin!
I mean honest to gawd though, there are so few that I like that I might cave and make one of my own...
It wouldn't be furries though if I ever did, sorry, haha. But they would still have penises, so that is okay, right? I could make a furry version, and stick neko ears and tails on one guy and give doggie ears and tail to the other guy... oh I am a bad person, hahaa.

Why do ukes look like women all the time? The best explanation I can come up with is that it's drawn by straight girls a lot of the time, who basically just want porn without uninteresting cootches taking up space... so the uke's like, the female-sympathetic kind of thing? Either way, it is silly to me.
That's probably what's up... They get the gay without straying too far from comfortable materail. Also, I don't think I've ever seen a yaoi/shonen-ai where the guys have had any significant amount of body hair. Though as far as manga-styling goes, I don't think many manga men do. XD
Back to femboys, there's the thing where someone just draws a bishonen femboy pinup on say, dA, and all the yaoi fangirls say "Oooh, he's soooo hot!" So that kind of ruins my theory about why they look like women sometimes, when the girls are attracted TO the femboys. :S
I don't get the femboy attraction either. Slightly effeminate with some redeeming masculine traits is passable... Not saying I like big and beefy... at all really... But geez, let's make them look like men a little shall we?
