"Use This One" and the Future

I have to say, wow. I'm floored by the response to "Use This One." I'm glad so many people like it! Working on it has been a very uplifting experience.
For years, I've put off doing more furry art because of school. If at any time I felt like I had the bandwith to draw something, it was better served working on other projects. Furry art had to be tucked under the rug for a while.
I've been out of school for almost a year now, but I've still retained much of the older mentality. When, for over 3 years, you've put off something because there were "better things to do," getting back on the horse can be difficult. I've been filling much of my time with other projects. Then came FC.
I drew Use This One at FC because of a conversation I had with
eclipsegryph and the image just stuck with me. I couldn't get myself working on anything else, the image consumed me. I tried to put it off, I tried to work on other things. But finishing the drawing was always foremost in my mind. The conflict lead me to being fairly unproductive.
Eventually, though, it won out, and I'm glad it did. I learned something from the whole experience. I can't force myself to do side projects I don't want to. Instead of fighting my natural creative drive, I should embrace it. I should let it drive me to tangent. I should let it take me where it wants to go, and enjoy the ride.
I love drawing furry stuff. I think now I can finally get back to it. Thank you all for helping me realize how much fun the whole process is!
