I'm eagerly awaiting what the new games will have in store. I know a fuck ton of people are already dismissing it, but whatever. I'm way too old to be playing Pokemon, but I do. It's fun, that's all that matters.
I admit Pearl/Diamond was confusing, but if you don't go WELL I NEED TO KILL THESE THINGS TO UP MY EV POINTS AND FEED THEM THIS POKEBLOCK TYPE AND AND AND you'll have fun with the game. I just think everyone tries to godmode, and end up hating the game because of it.
Regardless, I'm still playing Fire Red since I know I can transfer these Pokemon to Diamond/Pearl.

Yeah, for competitive play. There's actually a program that lets you edit anything whatsoever about a Pokemon, sp that's pretty easy to make a legal godmode Pokemon to play people with. Unless you're REALLY into fucking doing IV breeding & EV training the long and hard way... but we don't talk about THOSE sorts of players. >.>
