Hurt Locker was a Kick Ass Independent film about EOD Explosives Ordinance Disposal in Iraq. Great movie. Definitely recommend it! Came out several months ago on DVD, and back this summer on the big screen.

From what I was made aware of by one of my more 'indie' friends, it was directed by James Cameron's wife, wasn't it?

The Hurt Locker, what a superb movie. Out on blu-ray and DVD and worth every penny. Thank god that piece of overblown crap Avatar didn't win.

Though I would have been happy if District 9 won as well. Either of those two.

Actually avatar blasted on the previous prices on imnovation and technology... That little video that was shown with all the dudes holding plates. Yeah it wasn't that good of a movie anyway but like all from Cameron it's pure entertainment and not always best movie material... Exept that one time... You know the king if the wooed thing... Lol

but hey after 25 years an Argentinian movie won best foraing lenguage movie and Sandra bullok and Jeff Bridget got a price too! I just wish Up gotten more prices
