Romantic Art Contest Results!

Heyas!
Wow, it's been over a month since this contest started. I'll be the first to admit that it wasn't as organized as it could be - to be QUITE honest it got started without me. Hah! Well, now I know for next time.
Twenty-Seven Entries, people. 27 people decided to try to enter this contest, and with little advertising and mainly word of mouth, I'd say that's a damn good showing.
For me, narrowing down even just to a top ten was damned hard, and I know that the other judges had the same problem. There were too many to choose from, and getting down to five per judge was far more difficult than I imagined it would be when I thought about doing this contest.
In the end, though, there was one picture that all the judges agreed upon:

Paraphrasing
kanekisaragi, this image is well done, smoothly drawn, and shows all the traditional iconography of romance. Tsuki will need to contact me via PM for an address to send the prize, teh Bamboo Wacom Tablet.
I was originally not planning for a second place, but
rottingroot decided to donate a commission. ( http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/...../#cid:10027517 ).
Second place, by our first polling, was a tie. By our second polling, was a tie. By teh time I started writing this, was STILL a tie, so I broke it.

wolfglow, is second place. Of the choices, I feel it best fit the mood and the theme.
This is not to say that there are only two winners in this contest, though. I personally feel that every person who joined the contest won. Maybe not the prize, sure, but because of you entering the contest, you made an artwork that you may not have gotten around to, you made a clean piece of artwork that made it really, really difficult to choose from. Congratulations, and speaking as someone who loves to see art, all art, and any art, thank you!
