Yesterday was my 2 year anniversary on here
Last year i got a picture done with loads of friends in it: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2045535/
I couldn't afford to get another one done, plus i'd need to add about 40 more people to it now. So any nice people.
But i realised something while looking at it, i still like every single person on there. Sure there's been some drifting apart, switching positions and even falling outs. But i still love the picture and like everyone in it.
The new AUC reflects the changing laws around the world and FA has to adapt to survive.
Shota/loli mature stuff will be a no-no, this includes thinly disguised children as furs with just ears or tails glued on.
I always thought this was borderline for a furry site so i can't blame them for protecting us and themselves.
Artists that draw this stuff will feel like it's a witchhunt, but it's not. Times are changing and new laws are coming into play.
Will cubs be next? They're getting legal advice on that now i believe, so i don't know.
Would i miss cubs in mature situations on FA? This might shock you but i wouldn't.
Anything removed from this site will always be available elsewhere. But i don't see the changes as the massive issue others do.

And the AUP is just something that has to happen i think to protect everybody. No point making the admins life's hard over it, i'm sure they'd prefer to leave everything as it is if they could.
and if it does get removed there will be quite a few artists on here that will lose out with it if thay do remove it but mmm o well

I hope it doesn't get banned as like you say it is cute, plus i don't want artists feeling like they'd been victimised.
It's been a fun 2 years and i don't look back on anything with real sadness anymore.
Other people have said the same thing about me, that i made them a better person....maybe i'm super squirrel hehe. But i see the best in everyone

And you know, the AUP/TOS change was kinda the same effect on me. Proto-humans never really belonged on FA anyways, and like you said, they will always be available elsewhere.
It's only the mature situations that will be banned, so cute stuff will remain.
