Well i hit 41 years old last month, it came as a bit of a shock as well. It seems like only a few months ago that i passed 40.
Things are generally good in my life, i'm loved and needed by  fardru and that's i'll ever need.

But i've noticed a change in the way i act on here now. When i actually bother to speak up or do anything i mean.
When i first joined i was happy to give encouragement and chat to people all the time, but since passing 40 and now 41*grumbles* the first thing i do is check a persons age to see if i'll look like a pervert for commenting or encouraging them. I know it shouldn't make any difference and it makes me feel old for acting this way, but if spot a person is under 20 i'll not comment at all. Sad eh?
Knowing that profile ages aren't exactly accurate on here doesn't help much either, so generally i steer clear.

I'm not actually down about being 41, it's just... well it's not as good as being 21 is it?
'I still have some good friends on here...' is what i was about to say, but i don't talk to anyone other than  son-of-liberty anymore. So i guess i only really have one good friend. But that's my fault for dropping off the map and avoiding the place. But i still consider them friends and friends last forever in my book.

Do i have any advice for the young? Yes. Don't waste your youth, everything is much easier to do when you're younger. Things are simpler(though they wont seem like it till you're older). You can do something different each day and be who you want to be, when you're older it's much harder as you sink into a rut of work and sleep and forget how much fun the world can be.
I'm waffling, did you read this far? I'm surprised anyone's reading it at all.

Things that happened in the last year. I gained high blood pressure, wrote dru about 65 letters and learned what i knew all along. With true love, you can survive anything. And to think i never believed in love once, thought it was something made up from the movies. Heh.
