Discovery of the Week- Entry #2

I think I am one week behind... But no matter. I never promised a 'week to week' update. XD At any rate, this weeks discovery is quite interesting.
We all know about protons, neutrons, and electrons, yes? Well, I found out scientists have been able to teleport ions. It's not your conventional teleportation, as we think of it. Hardly like apparating (for you Harry Potter fans), or "Captain Kirk'ing" (for you Trekies).
Now, this may seem hard to believe. Honestly, I was laughing through my informers entire speech. "No way teleportation is real. This isn't Star Trek." But, low and behold, it's true. Look it up.
The only downside: It's a long process. So there's not going to be much ''Beam me up, Scotty.'' Still, the fact that some simple form of this Science Fiction phenomenon is real, INTENSE!! Or maybe I'm just weird.
