I found my boat

When I came back from the West Indies the Sidewinder I was looking at had been sold, or at least she was no longer listed. Which is OK because this is much nicer and even a little closer, regardless of being in a different state. :P I was deciding weather I wanted a daysailor with a cuddy cabin or a one-cabin cruiser. I think this is the right choice. I can sail her single handed, I can winter her much easier and everything is less expensive. I saw a cruiser for less than this price, but I can tell from the pictures that it would cost triple the price to make her sea worthy. The main sheet looked like yarn after a cat was done with it.
I sent a message with my interest. The problem is that its just out of my price range when you consider registration and all those other hidden fees. But I'll think of something. I hope he gets it, but I didn't want to call before I knew how I was going to pay for it. X3
Also commissions are open. I'm going to do a little less trades, but they are open too, because that's the only business I get.

The question is, do you have a captain's cap yet? You need a cool cap for this vessel. :)

OP
Only landlubbers and power boaters wear yachtsman's caps. The only time a sailor will wear one is when they are dressed up for something. I have a pith helmet though. I think that is far more suiting to the adventurer's life style.

I'm counting that as a headdress suitable for captaining too. :)

It's better looking than you described it. xD

She's a pretty little boat. The sidewinder was pretty too if you looked at it the right way. Streamlined, shallow draft, narrow beam, it was built to go fast. It was a great deal even if I did miss out. But I hope I can get this boston whaler. It looks brand new. :)
