DeathWatch Champ... damn, that was quick.

In case you haven't guessed, I finished playing through the story for Madworld, a rather unique beat-em-up for Wii. One could say the lack of any color except for the colors used for the blood is cheap as hell, but I thought it was a very unique style choice.
So here's how the game goes: You're Jack, a guy with a chainsaw-jackknife installed into a bionic right arm, and you're in Varrigan City. Except the city has been cut off from society as a whole, all for the sake of a literal bloodsport called DeathWatch. No story spoilers on the final boss if you haven't played it, but you'll either see it coming from a mile away, or at least be a little surprised. Vague, but whatever.
Gameplay wise, it's okay, but what makes it shine is the number of ways you can kill enemies in the environments. Not exactly a charming aspect for a game, but it IS supposed to be a gladiator-esque game, so you kind have to fight so you don't die. And get points.
Leading to the next thing, the point system is insanely wierd. You kill a guy with your bare hands, you get 1000, but if you strap a tire around him, jam four or five roadsigns through his neck, and ram him repeatedly on a wall spike, you can get well over 100000 points for it.
In case you haven't guessed, a game where you kill people in a graphic-novel-style environment in hundreds of possible ways is rated M for mature. No duh. But at least there's smoking references, drug use, alcohol reference, swearing, girls in provocative outfits... in short, a game that appeals to either a high school nerd that wants something to play to vent out wanting to get revenge on the school bully, or someone that wants to kill things in detail without getting arrested for it.
Bottom line, I'd say this game is designed for immature idiots that have no respect for human life, decency, or being a stable, productive member of society. That said, I think this game FREAKING RULES.
