This is the coolest idea for an art book ever, and I remembered I had this idea from  irrisorie 's recent art (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5692789/).

The process is simple:

1.) Buy a leather-bound blank book
2.) include with it a series of notes about the Echelon (aka eldrich parasite beings I made up)
3.) paypal a commission payment for up to 10 pages of sketches to a favorite artist
4.) Snail-mail the book to them with a small list of guide-lines:
4a.) Number your pages appropriately.
4b.) Keep to a basic theme (journal entries, faux newspaper clippings pasted in and scribbled notes and highlighting, "medical entries" on unknown creatures, etc.)
4c.) You are encouraged to hand-write things if necessary, but calligraphy is equally acceptable if your choice of art includes writing.
5.) Get the book mailed back to repeat steps 3 and 4 until the book is filled.

Voila, instant fictitious Eldrich/art book! It'd probably be expensive as hell, but it would be really awesome, right?

EDIT: Ooh, ooh, and I could arrange for the last person to hand it over to me in a dramatic fashion at a convention and get it recorded on video. GAWD I'm a nerd X3
