Anatomy Practice

Hi there,
If you want to draw seriously, you sooner or later have to face anatomy! And i dont mean the crap like "how to draw" and other rubbish, but REAL anatomy education books. If you dont understand the "capacity" of the human, or animal body, you aren't able to draw it correctly. You have to "see", how anatomy works. Art and Science always stand to each other in an additional cooperation. Leonardo da Vinci did study the body, he did autopsy humans and animals, to get this informations, which we take today for granted. Nowadays, i dont have to lacerate human bodys anymore, to study anatomy...^^
Thanks to Gottfried Bammes and his exclusive books, i'm able to understand anatomy as a whole!
I'm currently working with his book "Große Tieranatomie" (Big animal anatomy), which contains everything, i have to know about it. Its about the skeleton construction, about animal movements, about muscles and bones.
And all this with an very informative, well written text and additional drawings which shows the informations. Teaching psychology says, you have to HEAR, SEE, and WRITE the information, to absorb informations optimal. Gottfried Bammes does it call "the understanding Seeing". You "see" the information, you "read" it and finally you "get" it. I'm working a few days with this book and I'm totally busy with it.^^
It is exhausting, but i have a good feeling about it.
I feel, that I get some important informations on the way to "understand" animal beeings.
Maybe I'll scan my scribblings, but i dont know, whether you are interested or not...^^°
See you later,
Neverman
EDIT: Look in my scrap-book, there are most of my scribbles from a few days ago.
