Jeans, can't wear'em, hate it. Sweatpants, don't see the point, bloody useless imo!
Now, the good thing is that, legally, these people can't do anything but stand in your way and annoy you until you pull out your transit card and let them swipe it to make sure it's valid, because you know, you're a nazi criminal who surely must be travelling illegally. That is, unless you indeed don't have a card on you. Then they get to push you around some more and give you a ~120 EUR fine. And if you do know the law and tell them that they have no legal right to contain me, touch and/or search me, they will beat me to the ground, illegally, and get away with it.
And that's the reason I carry my receipt for the otherwise blank RFID card that I paid a good 250 EUR for. Proof of purchase is allways a good thing to carry with you...
Hopefully I never have to try to prove it. Then again, they swapped companies running the ticket check and all that a few months ago. Used to be part of the local transit company, now they employ full on security guards. We'll see how that turns out...
