I know all about internet issues. When Charter Cable left my home area back in 2003 Suddenlink replaced them. I went an entire year without connectivity. That was fun let me tell you!

Uggghh I am so sorry to hear that!! Weeks like this has been makes me want SO much to find a way to pay them to run the ruddy cable to give us cable internet since the freaking hill behind us apparently makes satellite a no go. *nose pinch of frustration*
But we're on a 'spur' line so we'd have to pay a 3k cable run cost... annnnd yeah, starving artist.

Cable is absurdly expensive back home too. I had to switch to it though because I had some distance learning classes. I couldn't even get them to buffer on dial up.

A friend of mine got around the cost of running a "spur-line" somehow. I'll see them sometime in the next week and ask how he did it. If it's SuddenLink cable though you're better off on what you've got. A week or more without is unheard of for SuddenLink. They count their outages in 6 month periods.

Ouch, no not sudden link that I am aware of <3 but I'll keep that and mind and do some extra leg work to see if theirs any other hidden 'surprises' that I'll need to watch out for!
