Project X: About the leaf jump and the instant-kill

Well, I want to clarify 4 points:
1.) The Leaf Jumping Zone:
Okay, I made a jumping zone to make the game more variated, not just run and hit, the main trouble i have is because the game is not just go forward or backward, you can go up and down too. I have seen some people try to jump in diagonal, and do strange things losing all the lifes, is more easy than you all think, you just place the character up and down, trying to set the character to jump in the middle of the leaf, and jump forward, that works for ALL the leafs, you dont need to jump diagonally, anyways, because the perspective of the game and the cliff, i can understand is a bit confusing, so, i decide to fix and redone that area with some jumps, but much much more clearly, and if with the fix you still falling, then better try to play arkanoid instead a beat em up game or mario bross xDD
2.) Im noticed of the grammar errors in the cut scenes and other things of the game, we try always our best to traduce all the things, but.. we talk spanish languaje... we always try our best, but still is not easy for us, anyways neoeclipse is gonna fix them, and if anyone can help us to make the sentences good, send him a note.
3.) The boss of the 2nd level. Well, actually i try to make a hard boss, but is not really hard if you know how to beat it, this mechanism is present in a lot of games, forcing you to discover how to deal with him. So, for this part, is ok for me, and i dont gonna change it. The instant kill, is just to make the boss a bit more challenging, because, really, i dont find the real troubles to kill it, and, the instant kill, have a more slow warning to escape from it than any enemy of the game, so, i dont really see the trouble, but if you play with only one hand, surely he gonna kill you easy.
4.) For the last, but not less important. About the vore thing, really the people who see this disgusting or gross... holy crap, they are just bones, you dont see blood, you dont see violence really, and you scream like a child just to see a skeleton, with a vore move made in a funny way, is a carnivorous plant. I want to make something different, the game, have plenty of different rapes for all tastes, just to make the game more variated and touching a lot of fetishes, this vore move was gonna made just for this enemy, and i didnt have planned to make much more like this one. But all the bad comments about it have annoyed me a lot, just to try to make something different and dont fall in the repetition, is a boss, boss are different that normal enemies, and they have more brutal rapes, more or less. Im not a fan of vore, i dont see the funny thing, and less with gore (theres no gore in the game anyways!) I dont like anal, and blowjobs, but i make them, because some other people enjoys it, and i like to please the people with this things in the game, i dont just think on my tastes. But really, i have to say to the people that they have criticized me, and in some cases, saying just for that ruined the game, YOU ARE A BORING PERSON, and you dont think in other people who can like it. I WILL remove the vore rape, so, all can be happy, but dont expect me to think to make different things that the ones you all have seen, because seeing people screaming just for that silly thing really bothers me, and it has discouraged me to try to make new and different things. Oh, and for those who dont like the gay/male stuff, the game, sooner or later will have male characters to play with, so deal with it, if you dont like, just dont play with them.
I dont really want to be rude, but, I had the necessity to express my feelings about this, so, sorry for all this text, and have a good day.

You and your team are doing a great job on the game.
and ignore the fans who yell too loudly because they found one thing in the game they dislike. criticism is one thing. it's useful and helps point things out you may not have seen yourself. but ranting is different. it's not constructive at all, it's just raving from fans who feel you aren't making the game they themselves want. Well, let them make their own game if they don't enjoy yours.

Leaf jumping never made me lose more than one life ever. You may want to incorporate smaller pit zones in regular gameplay. I remember a Pirates of Dark Water game that sometimes had sections of the field as pits and it was an interesting obstacle and method of quickly beating enemies.
As for the grammar, I'm surprised that you guys didn't have a native English speaker to proof read. Having grown up watching God awful subtitled anime, I've pretty much gotten used to it. It is definitely one of the smallest nits to pick in this amazing game.
Seriously, I believe you guys really done a good job with the game so far. Part of playing a game is to learn what to do in the game as you keep playing.
Grammar really shouldn't be a factor to the game. It's just that same as the people complaining about
The leaf part was a breeze with Amy but it'll take time to learn the jumps with everyone else. It's just the same deal as playing any Sonic game with finding special stages and figuring out the patterns.
As far as the "instant kill" vore plant is concerned for the naysayers, can you say Sonic 1 Final Zone and Sonic 2 Death Egg Zone against Robo Sonic AND the Giant Robo-Robotnik with no rings? Not to mention being smashed if you're not careful. And notice on the head that it's a Parana Plant from Mario. Would you rather have the characters burn to a crisp instead if you don't escape?
I for one say keep what's there in my opinion. Either that or if the vore thing gets way out of hand, have an option to have it on or off. That way everyone can choose to see it or not with no complaints. Don't be afraid to add any other fetishes that will raise the controversy level over......well, you know. That's what being a game developer is all about. It worked for "Hot Coffee" right?
In all honesty the vore thing was nothing. You see that kinda shit all the time on kids tv shows.

3: I liked that it was tough. I never got a game over against him, but I did die once when he ate me.
and 4: KEEP THE PLANT EATING PART! It makes it DANGEROUS! If people are whiny about it, well, too bad! Same thing with the males, they just need to get used to it!
Hmm... Maybe in some of the animations... the male "rapes" the foe, but looses health, much like the spanking and stuff?

Of course,what I always say about game design is to offer players a choice whenever you can. So why not a toggle for it so if you don't want to see a character reduced to bones,you can just hit a thing and it spits out the whole body? Kind of a "death/no death" thing.
Additionally,the whole "grabs you in it's mouth and chews" is kind of dull. How about an X-ray shot so we can see the character getting tongue raped in it's mouth? Probably be best to leave it as is for the skeleton bit,tho. Just a suggestion.
On the whole,though,don't be afraid to try something new. It's not always going to work out and people aren't going to always like it,but you never know. Maybe that new idea will fly,maybe it won't. That's what the whole development process is all about. Finding what works and what doesn't. Trying new ideas and letting go of the bad ones and hanging on to the good ones.
So don't get discouraged because this one didn't turn out to be popular. We're all still playing it and we all still love it. Ok? (hugs)

If I have one request, it's that you don't let anyone's comments effect the CONTENT that YOU want to put in the game. I'm not into male stuff or vore myself, but I thought that scene was pretty damn hilarious! When the skeleton popped out, i was like, "Holy Shit!". XD XD
Also, male characters = win. I was curious if it'd be all females or not, and hearing there WILL be males to play as makes me a happy Chu. I really look forward to seeing how that will work later, and hope the game continues to progress well.
Ignore those people who complain about it because it's like them going to my picture of Irum killing people saying "I don't like the blood, i don't like the fact there's a spine in that one guard, why's his head ripped off? The leaf jumping wasn't THAT bad, it was kind fun trying to figure out where i had to jump, and yes, it's possible to make it over without dying, people. Zeta did it in the demo video unless you forgot.

I didn't have much problem with the leaf stage or the second boss. If anything it was trial and error for myself. Eventually I got the hang of it and kicked ass.
Besides, I only fell off the leaves once. XD

If you are willing to say 'There will be male characters whether you like it or not' why go against the vore option?

Zeta, I say keep the vore move. I liked it. It made sense, and it made it more challenging. I have to wonder if these same people play a console game, get to a boss that has an instant kill move like that, and quickly go and make an online petition to get it removed from the game, even though it's already been released. Really sad.

Games today are getting better about that, but the 80s were ruined with designers making sure that gamers got held by the hand on most releases in the western world.
I can't really believe people were even getting all worked up about the being eaten by the plant. It's base video game/ cartoon comedy having someone chomped on and bones spit out along with accessories (Zu's panties, lol XD) It's a smack in the face telling the player that it's not just a fap game and actually a side fighting game and you need to figure out how to deal with it or you'll lose all your lives and have to start the game over like a REAL GAME SHOULD. It's not a new gen type of game with regen health bars and checkpoints. It is a REAL (pervy<3 ) gamer's game |:3 and anyone who can't get over it should quit now :D
I don't think you should remove anything from what you've already got. Let the people player get BETTER at what they are playing so they don't have to see it.

Is it too much trouble if you persons were to make a version that censored the vore and name it the "wussy baby" version where hearts cover the "bad" parts that don't want to see? Then you can go on making your game with awesome ideas as usual and if people have problems with some part of it, they can wait for the censored wussy baby version to come out :3

The vore thing I didn't even know about XDDD (never died there...boss was easy ^^ )...I wouldn't mind it though, I mean it's one part of the game, no big deal...and besides, players should be focused on playing the game, not just seeing chars get raped no? ^^ (I'm not a vore fan >.> ...but the spiders and horses thing I loved o.o )
Also, I played just last night the Zu girl...I love her face expressions (the surprised and confused looks are really well made) ^^
But I thought it was awesome! Love the changes you made! You should keep whatever you want to keep and tell everyone who doesn't like it to bugger off. This is you and your team's game, and it's not like you're making a profit off of it, so do whatever the hell you want to do. There will be hundreds of thousands of people who play it and love it regardless. Me being one of them!

As for vore, keep it I say. No worse than what you'd see in any old video game. Hell, it fits the theme of old beat 'em ups.

You made it a one-hit kill to be more challenging. If people don't want the character to be eaten, then they have the opportunity to escape. If they get eaten, it is their fault for being bad at the game. They just need to get better at playing the game! That's part of the reason that I think it's funny: the player really knows that he or she failed. I really hope you decide to keep it.
The leaves did take a life or two to get through. Although when you get stuff like blowing the horse or playing with yourself, how come the meter rises? Did you already say something about that? And how do I say the people in the trees? Can I?
