Earlier tonight my cat somehow got into our neighbor's back yard. Our neighbors have three large dogs. We took her to the vet after we managed to get her out, with little help from our inconsiderate neighbors, but she was too badly hurt. We buried her in the back yard where she used to play and lay in the sun.

Our neighbors couldn't even be bothered to come over and offer an apology or see how we were doing. When confronted about what happened one of them had the gall to complain my cat had bitten her on the finger. It makes me angry, because had the situation been reversed, I would have apologized.

I owned her since she was big enough to hold in the palm of my hand. She couldn't even eat solids yet when we rescued her and her brother. She wasn't even three years old.

She was the sweetest, most beautiful cat. I'll miss her for a long, long time.

Rest in Peace, sweet baby. Until we meet again...I'll always love you.
