So I'm floating around facebook when I come across a friends "wall". One of his friends posts:

this is my last attempt. are u getting my msges?

So I message her thinking that I'm just being friendly and informative:

He's busy busy busy, at work ALL the time. don't worry he'll get back to you.

She says:

excuse me?

I say:

Umm...he's always at work... he'll get back to you don't worry?

she says:

i have no idea who you are or why he's getting you to send me message but i find it obnoxious and insulting.

I say:

He's not getting me to do it... I just thought I'd tell you... I work with him. that's all. didn't mean to step on any toes. Sorry.

The end....

At any point did I do something wrong?? I thought I was doing them both a favor by telling this nut job that he's an incredibly busy person and that he'd answer her eventually... I mean I know that I probably shouldn't have bothered in the first place, but nobody I know would have freaked out about it. They'd just say; "Oh okay," or something.

But this makes me realize even more that I apparently can't get along with most people of my own gender...
