Inking help!

need all of you who are actually paying attention to help me, i need some tips on inking, I've heard varying tales on how to do it, but none of them seem to work and be satisfactory for me, it always is too wobbly the lines are never strait or where i want them, so if anyone who knows what I'm talking about and is past this an help me, it'd be greatly appreciated

well idk what you use for inking, digital or by hand, it depends

I see, well since I use Photoshop 2 with my graphics tablet I find it's fairly easy to follow lines and such, since your having problems inking have you tried changing the "fit to curve" pixels? sometimes I find it easier for getting to get lines to fit by changing the number of pixels with what size curve it is, you could also try magnetising it where you do a sort of dot-to-dot and fit the line to the curve that way. No idea if any of this is helpful but i'm trying at least.
