-Trying to complete a fic exchange with myriadolust off LJ by tonight, since she finished her half of the deal and it was generally epic.

I agreed to the exchange mostly because she asked me. I really don't have much interest in doing it, since she and I are in the same fandom and thus compete for the same limited readership. She's good and it's not like me to friendly-it-up with someone of equal/greater talent within the community.

-I JUST got my BNF status for this fandom over Caelumi, and I really don't want to get another rival so soon. It's exhausting to compete with these people... There's so much backstabbing just to snag readers/comments.

I would quit, but I've too competitive.
