Thanks to the Department of Labor! Yes, THAT over-underestimated GOVERNMENT system. $3.29 net pay for those students here in Job Corps that have been here for a while. It's biweekly pay. For a grand total of $46.03 every two weeks. Back in Missouri, it'll go a bit.....*sighs*. In San Francisco, you can't go very far with it. Four movie tickets if you borrow an extra couple of dollars. The Treasure Island job Corps center is having some major issues since the DOL is not directly running it. The company (Yes, as in PRIVATELY OWNED) that runs this place is Rescare. Recently, a budget count was done, and $200'000 is needed. More complaints about that later. I miss being home. Where my worries are almost not there. Where life is simple, beautiful, and above all familiar with people to support and comfort you when you need it.
