There have been furries on Burbon Street, and I have pictures to prove it. There won't be a furry con in NO until the LA furs get their tails in gear.

But New Orleans is kinda a dirty, dangerous town... So honestly it's not the best idea to bring a bunch of basement dwelling furries into a place that isn't particularly safe >.>

How bout Alexandria? Its really a nice city from what I remember. Plus, its in the middle of the state where all the furries can convienetly get to there.

the location isnt bad, but honestly its a dreary town with little to no culture. i used to live pretty close and nearly moved there.

Ah. The last time i was in Alec was when i was 10 and attended a con for the Bayou State Bowhunters Assoc. with my folks. All i remember is the big mall there (its bigger than the one in monroe) then, how bout natchitohes?

The mall is pretty much failing now, and natchitohes is well... There's not much to do lol

I'd love a con here personally. I think one is in development...kinda...as in people are talking about how there totally should be a con here. I don't think much initiative has been taken though ^^;

We want to do it it just getting everyone together getting a staff and also the funds to do it all. Im all for it *Blackwolf posting*. I been wantting to get a con going in New Orleans for sometimes or even a place the Joy has told me about. Im for it just need the help.
