I'm giving some thought to it. I'm hoping I'll be ready to do commissions by the end of summer or thereabouts. It would certainly be a help in terms of income, and I'm sure it would be fun, too. :)

Where is Elliott's Spring Gathering? I hear about it a lot but I don't know what it is. :o

It's down in Kissimmee, Florida, right outside Disney World. It's a fairly small convention that's more a large, hotel-based party. Very social, lots of artists, and mostly - but not exclusively - local and regional attendees. His Majesty, King Elliott, takes good care of His guests. :)

I went last year for the first time because a few friends were there as dealers, and I had a really good time. It was definitely worth the 23-hour drive. Before you ask, I drove because it was actually more convenient than flying; none of my friends at the con had cars, so I was the designated chauffeur. :)

How much it would cost to you ?

At least $500. I couldn't arrange to share a room with friends, so the hotel costs would be pretty high for me.
