well I own a pair of Koss KEB24b headphones and the bass on them is fantastic!

skullcandy's hesh are wonderful, i've got a pair of them now. they're fairly cheap, 50-80. if you want some good earbuds, i recommend skullcandy's ink'd earbuds. i've also got some of those, they run around 20. they're even more amazing. both of those are full of sound, lots of bass, middle, and treble, to satisfy your listening pleasures.

i'm not sure if those are exactly what you're looking for, but those are just what i recommend for a cheap price and excellent quality.

Koss KSC-75. They're very thin clip-ons with great sound for the money (about $20 usually). They'd be well suited for a mod like that.

I'm glad they worked out for ya! Stuffing them into hearing protectors will change the sound a little, because the headphones are (sort of) open-backed, but they should still sound pretty good.

I hope you'll let us know how this mod turns out. I've thought of doing similar things myself, so I'm be curious about the results!

I just got the hearing protectors today, and after taking 2 minutes to remove the ear holders and stuff them in, they still sound pretty good and are a lot more comfortable than before

If you want mega-brain-mushing bass get the Skullcandy Skullcrushers! If you want good all round sound I recommend the official iPod in-ear headphones coz they grip will and give crystal clear sound.
