The other day me and my friends were playing the only Final Fantasy that we called a great game, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (the original). In our group none of us like Final Fantasy as a whole at all. We like three of them out of how many the fuck there are of the retarded series. In my case I only like FF Tactics Advance and Crystal Chronicles. I've played a few others (10, 12,11, 9, 1,2, Tactics) But I found them all extremely stupid and/or boring, out of those the only good one is the first. But I digress..
While me and my friends were playing Crystal Chronicles a realization occured to me. This game will never improve, because they made like four sequals to it already that all suck ass because of the damn fandom of Final Fantasy. I also wonder how the fuck could they make a sequal to this game? It pretty much ends very nicely with no strings attached, all monsters from the world are gone and the poison is gone so now it's safe to roam the world. Oh wait I forgot a very important detail Square Enix made it so that's how they made a fucking sequal. Every time that damn company make a game I actually like they fuck it up. Like Kingdom Hearts. The first one was great but the second had so many plot holes in it and they somehow managed to replace the ultimate evil somewhere in there too with cry babies in robes whos very exsistance is also a plot hole.
But back to Crystal Chronicles. The original game was great, it was unique even. The story was subtle and not in your face like every other FF and you actually had to pay close attention to it in order to continue or your screwed. The game is all about team work which makes it awesome since I love multiplayer games. The game could be played alone but why the fuck would you? I think that's another reason why the fandom hated it, they played it alone. The game came with a gc gba connector thing for a reason! But I admit it could get boring alone. And I will not deny that the game was repatative. But all in all the game had a depth to it. It was a beatiful game.
I have no respect for Square Enix at all. Most of their games are pure shit and when they actually make a good game they ruin it with shitty sequals! What the Hell!? I also find it funny my favorite game from them is only publised by them and not made, which is why it's good. (Drakengard)
I'm done now. There's more but I'm tired. All I want is a law stating that Square Enix can't make sequals and do so it is punnishable by death.
