last time i posted was wedensday, just after i got the results of the scan on my leg..
needless to say things have gone down hill since then..
im posting this from the Acute medical unit in redhill hospital, in surrey
on thrusday i had a pain in my side and left lung, nothing major but it was annoying. thursday night i was on sl, kept feeling a bit shit, so logged off and went to lay down.
this is where things went bad. couldnt lay down, every postion hut like someone grabbing my insides and twisting them. not to mention my legs were like ballons. all hot, red and swollen.
called my dad who called the doctors, after a quick chat he advised we hang up and dail 999 for a ambulance. so midnight and the blue lights turn up and cart me off to hospital. spent the next 3 hours being pooked and proded in accident and emergancy. then sent to the AMU ward till i was to have a scan in the morning.. i tried to sleep, being on loads of painkiilers.. my body woke me up with a bang.. couldnt breath, laying on my side, my left lung had collapsed. leading to me gasping for air and in loads of pain. its amazing how fast a nurse can actully run......
was put on 100% oxygen and given a tube into the side via a needle to help reinflate the lung.
and so its been like that ever since, spent the last few days in loads of pain, although the lung is working now, its not right, and hurts when i breath. this is on top of the blood thinning warfrine im taking making every joint hurt and headaches like mad.. note:. blood clots are not a laughing matter. if you even think you may have one, get to the docs and tell tham you suspect a clot. they have to act. in my case Dr molt saved my life. if i had done what the first doc had said, i would be dead right now. (scary shit)
im still on heart attack watch, hocked up to a ECG machine all the time. and having regular blood pressure and oxygen tests.
i only have this connection for a short while. its on a walkNweb dongle from another patient.. works nicly.. will have to grab one mysef..
im hoping to be let out sometime mid week, but im not in a hurry. want to get well and not have to worry about my lungs or heart.
anyway. sorry for the sunday shocker from the tiger.. but thats life.
Love you all, and snuggles
Jester
p.s. thinking of asking the Unit if my tiger Fursuit AV can be their mascot..
