Well, as most of you have probably heard, there is a volcano in Iceland that is causing one hell of a mess. The volcano first erupted on March 21 for the first time in 200 years. Wasnt too bad. This second eruption was under 3 glaciers, causing a more explosive eruption, and making lots more ash. What funny, is this is a Minor eruption. Eruptions are measured on a scale of 1-8, 8 being very, very big. In comparison, Mt Saint Helens was a 6, and the great eruption of Krakatoa was a 9. This one is rated at a 1. The lowest it can be. The big issue is WHERE it is.....its right smack in a jet stream, hence all the problems. They are closing almost every airport in Europe due to hightened activity that started this morning. Even a good friend of mine, who was flying to Ireland, wasnt able to go.

For me, I'm a volcano lover, so it interestes me. For everyone else, well.....its nature!
