Going to have to back out of commissions . . .
The station broke down on Thursday. Something is wrong with the tower, I have no idea what (and neither do they, apparently). This means that with the tower out, no broadcast, and with no broadcast, no DJ, and no money. Since I'm part time, I don't get paid for downtime or holidays, so I'm a week down on pay as it is, and no saying when the tower will be back online. I'd love to say "hey! commissions! it'll make me money!" but right now I need to job hunt because we're just going broke over here. Since I don't know where that will lead, even if somehow I can convince my boss to put me on salary, I think it's best to just say to the folks who had taken the ink ones that because I can't guarantee that I can uphold the timeline and as no one (but red, who is getting a refund on the ink one, I'll finish the color) has paid yet as sketches were not done yet, that I'm going to have to cancel. Sorry. :(
I can certainly relate lately. Though I am not quite out of a job yet, it feels like I am on the edge of that sometimes lately with all the uncertainty going on. I talk a bit about self determination and such, but much of this stuff is not under a worker's control no matter how good a job you do.

Good luck on that job search Tensik. Call me if you want an encouragin word.
*Tires squeal... loud thud sound heard*
OOF!! OW! *Rabbit is knocked to the ground*
Whoa! Anyone get the license number of that lion?
*Rabbit stands up now, all dazed and confused... in other words, no different than usual* ^.^
Seriously though, I wish you only the best... I always have, and I always will, and that's no joke... that just so happens to be the God's honest truth, Tenzee.
*Hugs tight* You'll make it through this somehow... I just know you will. You're a VERY strong person... erm, I mean furson. If anyone can get through this, you surely can. And, that's the bottom line, or my middle name isn't "wet". ^.^
I hope you find something soon.
~Cheers.
What happened was two years ago we had a massive ice storm and the tower got damaged; they band-aid'ed it and hoped the station would sell before they had to REALLY fix it. They almost made it, and now they are band-aid'ing it again, and then sucking up the true repair in June, when they'll bring the station back down to really fix it. so hopefully, fingers crossed, we're back up tomorrow, but if we get more rain, who knows.
