I have just posted some pics taken at a benefit show this group did. The benefit was for Tim McCarthy. He saw a car on fire that the driver was still in. Without thought to his own safety, he reached in and pulled the teenager to safety... getting 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his hands and a forearm! Tim and his wife are expecting their first child soon, and he was off work due to his injuries. He had no short term disability so times got really tough for him and his wife. The Musical Blades knew him and wanted to do something to help them out. They have such a big fan base they knew putting on a show would draw a crowd... and it did! The benefit raised $3300 for Tim! (and none of the Blades got a dime!)
