Sunday night, a group of 10 Furs went to Eden's. Everyone was greatly impressed by the atmosphere... it is in a house that has been turned into the restaurant. It has a lot of different art throughout, so something to look at besides plain old walls. The waitress who would normally be there had a son who got sick and she had to leave. That didn't phase the owner/chef one bit. Karen came out and talked with us all. Even sat down for a bit while taking the orders. At that point, someone said they didn't feel like just a customer, they really felt like a guest. First MouthGasm happened when the drinks were brought out... the Mango Tea is... well, a mouthgasm! A few of us decided to step out and have a quick smoke. Yeah, bread was brought out during that time. We got crumbs, and had to fight over them! But Karen quickly brought out a few more bread baskets, which I think were empty before they touched the tables! The baskets were filled with banana bread, zuchini bread, muffins... nomnom!  heros even said he don't normally like zuchini bread, but this was GOOD!! Well, after each mouthgasm, a smoker must have a cigarette, so we again trusted our friends and went outside on the back patio. Salads and appetizers were brought next. Again, "I don't normally like this" was heard several times between mouthfuls. And food was passed all around so we could sample things we hadn't ordered ourselves. Time for another visit to the patio. Then I heard plates being sat down on tables so we ventured in. Not sure  wolf2tails actually got his food since his plate was empty when we returned! Though he did have a quite satisfied smile across his face! The next several minutes were filled with the sounds of extreme pleasure around the room. (good thing the place was empty or I'm sure someone would have wondered just wtf was going on back there!) Then everyone had to have everyone sample their food. Karen would come out and chat with us a bit and make sure we all had drinks and anything else we might need. Then we got the checks and as we were all getting ready to pay, Karen brought out the most wonderful fresh chocolate covered strawberries!! OMG!!! Satiated! We were all still grinning by the time we returned to the hotel... 4.5 hours after we left!
Best advertisement... word of mouth. And was the Crowne Plaza ever filled with advertisement... along with business cards. Had people question why we were gone so long... "OMG, I just had an incredible mouthgasm" was about the only answer we were able to give.
So on Monday, when we were getting ready to head out, another group of 8 decided to go. I think, to keep this somewhat clean, I'd better not review THAT visit... let's just say we had furs begging each other for bread and other appetizers, found interesting ways to share, and even scared a couple mundanes (to which Karen just shrugged and said oh well! Told ya she loves furs!) We all even had to pull a  nightrider and all licked their plates! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7488658 Again, some food came up missing... Karen even offered to call the police when the burger was suddenly gone off the plate! :) We had a great time there, and Karen made every single fur feel like family. After the checks were paid, we had to hurry and get to airport (my flight was in less than an hour! Barely made it!) Karen gave us all hugs and said she'd like to see us all back. (amazing since we did get kinda carried away. lol)
We hope to have several trips to Eden's again next year during TFF2013... keep it in mind if you think you may be going to the con; I really don't think you will be disappointed! MOUTHGASM!!
