Lately mine has been a mixture of roleplay and music. I'll hear a song that reminds me of a moment in the roleplay, or the roleplay will go through a part that reminds me of a song, and I kinda use the two together to come up with something.

Usually, I draw my friends' characters as a lil' gift-art for them, simply because I like their reactions to them. |3

Roleplaying helped me. Then there's always Disney movies. <3 Oh, and Coldplay is my favorite as far as music, it always helps me draw and that's why I love it. |3;;;

Uhmm, I also like to bounce around ideas with my friends about how our characters would react in situations.... almost verbal roleplaying xD;

But yeah, making fun OC's that I love are inspiring a lot of the time. Mostly when it's fun to draw them being awesome, or reacting to something in a hilarious fashion. Like this one time I wanted to practice hands more, so I made a ghost character that only appears to be a pair of gloves. and to make him more fun to draw, I gave him multiple personality disorder so his two gloves are always fighting. xD
