Don't worry morg, The suit, I will attempt to add a couple of years use into it. He is growing right before my eyes, but I'll try to build some grow into it. I haven't discovered DTD patterning yet, and actually start out with a commercial pattern. I take in the hem leaving as much as 2 inches, so it can be taken out later. For length, some fur is easily matched when some more is added, or just turn up the cuffs leaving a few inches. i have found with fur, it's kind of forgiving that way. Besides, I think it's prudent to keep the larger scraps for a 'just in case'. hopefully the shorter fur is kind of like that, but i guess that's part of learning. (plus there's another tiny one that in a few years could take some use of it if it's not threadbare by then - who knows?)

It's all good. The thought is that if I can make him one that he wants with better quality than the 'bellybutton' costumes in the store then there will be at least two happy guys.
