I was -so- tired, and I've been sick, so I figured... maybe my body really needs this! Then I slept like a rock for an undetermined amount of time only to wake up once my boyfriend got home. I still feel "iffy"
I think it's 'cause I tend to sleep too long for naps. :C I don't fall asleep very easily most of the time so I have no idea how to properly time a nap for myself, because I will toss and turn for an undetermined amount of time beforehand.
that, and once I know I set an alarm I spend the whole time anticipating the alarm [I hate loud sudden noises, even not-so-loud-noises-proceeded-by-the-vibrate-function tends to set me on edge upon waking up] and not sleeping. I am just doomed to never sleeping really well for a long period of time, I think. :P
Here's an interesting trick I've tried myself: Down a cup of coffee, then take EXACTLY a fifteen minute nap. You will feel INSTANTLY refreshed.
Its either that or make fists with your toes on carpet.
