Old days of Graphical Chat.
Wasn't sure if any of you, youngins out there (god im showin my age) remeberd Thepalace.com back in the wee days of dialup for virtual online chat. Well before secondlife came about this was one of the ways we use to chat online with graphical avatars made from drawings no diffrent than what is being done here.
Why am I talkin about this old thing? Well call me an old softy, but I still have a place in my heart for this chat medium. And it saddens me to see it wither away as it has for the past 5+ years. :(
Luckly a few years back a small group formed around the now free software and created a updated client to work with the old servers. And I thoght this might be a nice alternitive for those of us who cant run second life or feel its just too complicated to bother with.
Hope this enlighend you to give it a try.
If so, head on over to:
http://www.bhlabs.com (win2k, XP, Vista)
or:
http://www.thepalace.com (win9x or Mac)
and download the client for free.
