Is it weird that I feel like this?

Ok I'll set it straight: I love zombie media, whether it be books, games, films whatever I love it.
The whole concept that the world is overrun by the living dead and I have to fight to save my skin (literally) is something I -for some distrubing reason- want to experience, but things have been taking a strange turn for me.
Recently I've been starting to feel more and more paranoid whenever I watch anything to do with zombies, I don't mean I sit with a baseball bat in hand or look over my shoulder every 5 seconds but the thought of "what if this actually happened?" keeps creeping up in my mind.
Recently I bought the Marvel Zombie vs Army of Darkness novel and after seeing all the marvel heros becoming blood thirsty zombies it puts me in a uncomfortable postion, the fact it shows ANYONE can become the living dead even superheros is a terrifying thought indeed.
Also I can't help but stop thinking "what if this actually happened? I wake up and see zombies outside and my own family shuffling towards me wanting to eat me. would I beable to kill them despite they are already dead? How would I survive? Would I go mad with fear?"
I think I have to blame the film 28 Weeks Later since the way the infection is done is quite plausible despite it technically not being a zombie infection.
Bah I must be just to easy to scare >P

Though i have to point out that I find the thought of Marvel Zombies to be a bit overboard in my thought pattern. LOL, Seems like they are grasping at straws for ideas now.
Also, the Marvel Zombies series -seriously- freaks me out. I love it so much, mostly because YOU CAN NEVER WIN.
I just have a very uneasy feeling whenever I think about zombies.
Or secure your house for safety!
Our wedding cake would be a full sized zombie and we could cut it with a chainsaw.
Don't know if you've ever played Dead Space or not, but that game has been the only thing that's come even close to scaring me in recent years. For some reason "normal" zombies don't faze me any, but the necromorphs in that game are the dead that have been mutated into some truly horrific creatures. It's just really disturbing when you're fighting a monster and you can still /see/ the vestiges of humanity in the creature ... all warped and tainted ... that still manages to get to me. =P
The only kind of zombies I find more terrifying are the ones that can run like in Left 4 Dead or The Dawn of the Dead remake because A) theres no way in hell I'd beable to outrun them and B) Can you really say it wouldn't be a terrifying sight to see a crowd of screeching zombies running towards your location?
Also the fear of wondering what the pain would feel like when having your flesh ripped off is something that scares me. :P
And whether or not I'd be terrified over a zombie mob bearing down on me would depend on if I had a fully loaded and mounted mini-gun at the time. X3
A mini gun would be nice in a zombie apocalypse but nothing would be as awesome to have than Ash from Evil Dead XD
